Privacy
We collect only the information needed to establish accountability and run the registry.
Government-ID images used for author identity checks are deleted after verification; the registry keeps the verification result and date. Legal names behind verified pen names and private contact information are not published. Public records show only the facts needed to understand the edition and its certification.
What this site collects
- Complaint and seal-misuse reports: the report itself, any evidence you attach, and contact details if you choose to give them. A hashed network address is stored for abuse control.
- Submissions (when open): the edition data, files, attestation, and AI Use Disclosure, plus identity-check results as described on the Identity Data page.
- A first-party visit counter and first-party AI-crawler log. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts run on any page.
What this site never collects or publishes
- Reader reviews, ratings, or comments.
- Retailer or purchase data.
- Legal names behind pen names, or submitter contact details, on any public record or API response.
Retention
Manuscript files are retained for 12 months after a decision for correction and complaint purposes, then deleted; file hashes are retained for similarity checks. Complaint records are retained as part of the record history.
Disclosure
Identity data is disclosed only under legal compulsion, decided by the owner and logged internally.
