Christian Book Registry
Search by title, author, ISBN, or record number. Every record states plainly whether the edition is Certified or Publisher Verified, and exactly what was and was not checked.
Certified and Publisher Verified
Both are legitimate registry records. Neither is a demerit and neither is a version of the other. They differ in what was verified: the book, or the imprint that published it.
Certified means we examined this edition. The author signed the Statement of Christian Belief under a verified identity, and AI use, Scripture, citations, credentials, endorsements, and editorial completeness were checked.
Publisher Verified means this edition comes from an imprint on our recognized publisher list. Recognition requires an imprint to acquire and contract with named human authors and maintain editorial and review processes, under published criteria. The edition itself has not been submitted or evaluated, and its accountable author may submit it at any time.
A book that is not in the registry has not failed anything. It may simply never have been submitted.
Statuses
Every record carries exactly one status: Certified Publisher Verified Submitted Revoked. The fixed meaning of each is on the status definitions page.
