Certification is permanent for an edition only while the attestation behind it remains true.
Revocation
A record is revoked when a false attestation, fabricated source, credential, or endorsement, or an undisclosed AI role is established through the complaint procedure. The record remains public and is marked “Revoked” with the date and the category of reason. It is never deleted.
Public list
Every revocation is listed on this page in date order: record number, title, publisher, date, and reason category.
No records have been revoked.
Corrections
A correction that does not rise to revocation is recorded on the affected record’s history with the date and a one-line public description.
Seal misuse
Use of the seal, the name Christian Book Standard, or a record number on an edition that does not hold a matching certified record is seal misuse. Report seal misuse
